Before working out with Lori, I was pretty casual and inconsistent about my fitness style. I jumped onboard when I found out she offered personalized training, and she created a three-month plan that prioritized my goals while slowly transitioning from a high-support format to a more independent, self-led planning style that put me in charge of my fitness. The entire process was done online, as Lori lives in Louisiana and I live in Washington, DC - a huge help to make the workouts more accessible for me because I didn't have to hurry to a gym in rush hour traffic to make an appointment.

Lori didn't focus on any of the toxic diet culture thinking that regularly infiltrates the fitness world. Instead, she prioritized checking in with me about my strengths, weaknesses, how I was feeling, and overall, about how to achieve balance in making healthy life decisions. Since I started working out with Lori, I'm now much happier with my overall health and excited to be training for my first long race - I highly recommend working out with Lori!

For the past year, Lori’s coaching as my Personal Trainer has provided the needed fitness goals, motivation, skill sets, and dedication that I had actively been seeking. Starting with the initial meeting to assess goals, objectives, & current capabilities, Lori’s enthusiastic, adaptive, informative, and resourceful approach to each PT session includes everything I had wanted and more.

With each session Lori is able to integrate the necessary individualized physical skills with technology to create summaries of each task and enhance the learning and continued training performance. Lori’s background as a teacher is evident in her capabilities with media streaming, music, and creation of relevant documents & charts.
